BIO
Lala is a multidisciplinary Taiwanese-born, London-based artist working across drawing, ceramics and printmaking. Her practice explores memory, emotion and the ways in which memories shift over time, gradually becoming unfamiliar to us. She draws on both personal and collective memories to map the invisible connections we share as a community. Her work explores how people are interconnected, even when these relationships may appear invisible or nonexistent, and how strangers can unknowingly play a role in one another’s lives.
Lala was awarded the Stanley Picker Project Fund Award in 2026. Her work has been exhibited at Stanley Picker Gallery and the University of Cambridge.
